The fountain
Which size should I choose?
The 4 L fountain suits a small dog under 11 kg. The 7 L is made for medium and large dogs, or homes with several dogs: it holds more water, so you refill it less often.
Is it easy to set up?
Yes: fit the filter in place, fill the stainless steel bowl with fresh water, plug in and switch on. It's ready in a few minutes.
How do I clean it?
Unplug the pump, empty the water and wash the stainless steel parts in warm soapy water about once a week. Rinse well before refilling.
Can I use tap water?
Yes. Filtered water can reduce limescale and help the filter last longer.
Can several dogs use it?
Yes. The wide tray leaves plenty of room to drink, and the 7 L is the best choice for several dogs.
What if my dog doesn't use it?
Most dogs are curious about running water. Some need a day or two: place the fountain next to their old bowl at first. If it's not right for you, you have 14 days after delivery to send it back.
Filters
How often should I change the filter?
About once a month, more often if you have several dogs. Every fountain comes with 2 free replacement filters.
Where can I buy replacement filters?
Right here in our shop: packs of 6 or 12 filters.
