Dogs travel better when they can see out

A lot of car anxiety is simply not being able to see where you are going. A dog low on a back seat feels every corner without any warning of it — which is where the whining, the pacing and the car sickness start.

This booster raises them 15 cm. High enough to watch the world go past, low enough that your rear-view mirror stays completely clear. The memory foam underneath takes the movement out of the ride, and the sides give them something to lean into instead of bracing against a slippery seat.

Set it on the seat

Place the booster on your back seat. No tools, no fittings, nothing to attach to the car itself.

Fasten the belts

Run the built-in straps around the headrest and seat back and pull them snug.

Clip your dog in

Attach their harness to the internal clip. They can sit, turn and lie down, but not climb into the front.

Will it fit your dog?

The bed measures 50 × 50 cm and suits one medium dog under 35 lb (about 16 kg), or two small puppies travelling together. Think a French bulldog, a cavalier, a mini schnauzer, a small terrier — or a pair of pups who already share a bed at home.

Questions

Will it fit my car?

It fits most standard back seats — saloons, hatchbacks, SUVs and MPVs. The straps go round the headrest and seat back, so nothing has to bolt to the car.

Will it block my rear-view mirror?

No. The 15 cm lift is set to give a small or medium dog a view out of the side window while staying clear of your mirror line.

Is the safety belt enough on its own?

Always clip it to a body harness, never to a collar. It keeps your dog in their space and out of the front of the car; it is not a crash-tested restraint.

Does it help with car sickness?

It often does. Being able to see out of the window and feeling less body movement are the two things that settle most travel-sick dogs, and this addresses both.

How do I wash it?

Unzip the plush cover and machine wash it. The waterproof layer beneath keeps the foam itself clean, so it rarely needs more than that.

Can we use it indoors?

Yes — it works as a normal bed at home, in the garden or camping. Dogs usually settle faster in the car when it already smells like their bed.
