Eight sizes, because cars are not one size

Most universal covers come in two or three sizes and expect your car to compromise. We cut eight — five for sedans, three for SUVs — so the cover you order sits where it should: down over the sills, tight at the hem, no loose fabric flapping against your paint in the wind.

How to choose your size

Measure your vehicle

Length from bumper to bumper, width across the widest point of the body, and height from the ground to the highest point of the roof. Work in inches.

Choose sedan or SUV

Sedan sizes are cut for a lower roofline. SUV sizes are taller and wider through the body. Match the shape first, then the numbers.

Between two sizes? Go up

A slightly roomy cover still goes on and still stays on. A cover that is slightly short will never reach the sills.

Looking after it

Rinse or wash your vehicle before covering it — grit trapped between fabric and paint is what marks a car, never the cover itself. Let the cover dry before folding, and it will pack back into its bag flat.

Questions

Will it fit my exact car?

Each size is cut to cover a range of vehicles rather than one specific model. Measure your length, width and height in inches, run them through the size finder at the top of this page, and it will name the size that covers all three. Between two sizes? Take the larger one.

What is the difference between the sedan and SUV sizes?

SUV sizes are cut taller and wider through the body to clear a higher roofline. A sedan cover on an SUV will be short on height even when the length matches, so match the body shape before you match the numbers.

Where do I measure the height from?

From the ground to the highest point of the roof, with the vehicle on level ground. Roof rails and antennas add height, so include them if they cannot be removed or folded down.

Will it mark the paint?

Not on a clean car. Wash or rinse the vehicle before covering it — marks come from grit caught between the cover and the paint, not from the fabric.

Can I leave it on all winter?

Yes. Check it after heavy storms to make sure the hem is still pulled in under the body, and take it off to dry on the first clear day after a long wet spell.

How do I store it?

Let it dry, fold it roughly in half lengthways, then roll it into the storage bag that comes in the box. It sits comfortably in a trunk.
